I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time. About a discussion I had with a guy on an IRC channel. To make a long story short: I was confronting his rasist thoughts towards immigrants. Not that I don’t like discussions and such, but he couldn’t really defend his thoughts, especially not while stating that he’s not a rasist and at the same time mentioning that his friends were beaten up in a fight with some Arabic guys (who started the fight is unknown, he actually refused to tell me that), which is why he hates immigrants etc. Well, okey. Then right before he logged out, I’m sure he was furious by that time, he called me a “damn humanist”. That’s what I’m thinking so much about. Am I supposed to feel bad about that? :P It’s like saying that Mahatma Gandhi is a “damn peaceful man”.
Humankind sure is a funny flock of beings.
